Had installed without issue previously, but other issues forced me to reinstall Joomla. On fresh reinstall of Joomla, tried to install K2 but keep receiving Error installing component. Warning: Table 'vcrrinfo_ss_dbnamed64.#__k2_categories' doesn't exist". Deleted old databases. Tried reinstalling Joomla again. Same issue. Tried installing by upload, URL, and from folder. Looked in forums and saw a similar issue marked solved, but there was no solution in the thread at all. Joomla 3.8.3 on Bluehost

Empty the tmp folder of your Joomla! installation, remove all related K2 folders and then finally drop any K2 related db field.
This will wipe your installation clear of obsolete files.
Then proceed to reinstall.
PS. Backup first.
