It was this in K2.css:

div.latestItemList {padding: 5px 5px 0px 0px}

Line 744. The figures above for the four padding directions may look different for you.

Play around with the figures to get your desired spacing.

Please note that this is the copy of K2.css in the template css folder, not the one in the K2 folder. Things may be different for you.

I hope this fixes things for you, but please let me know if not.
