Hi there,
Working on Joomla 3, if I try to assign any k2 category to a non-k2 module, the categories don't show up. All I can choose from is "All Categories" and "Uncategorized".
It looks like the modules are not fetching categories from K2.
Can anyone help me out?

You need to use module which support K2. This module only works for the default articles.
You can use the K2 content module.
