How to deal with huge amount of images in cache folder was created by Klaus Veliu
Hello,

I have build some news website that now are having a lot of articles ~200.000
The issue that I am facing now is the huge number of images that are location in just one folder(media/k2/items/cache).

In another thread I have asked how to show all images in this folder via ftp, but now I wanted to know if there is any simple way to structure this path like media/k2/items/cache/YEAR/MONTH/ or something like this.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I am not aware of an easy out-of-the-box method. Have you looked at the JED or the KED?
