Hi all! I am looking for a solution to show categories and subcategories in a blog layout. Somewhere I have read that K2 can manage this, but I have never tried it so I thought I should ask before I dig in to it.

This is what I need in my category blog layout:

Category title
Category description
Article1 Article2 Article3
Article4 Article5 Article6

Subategory1 title
Subategory1 description
Article1 Article2 Article3
Article4 Article5 Article6

Subategory2 title
Subategory2 description
Article1 Article2 Article3
Article4 Article5 Article6

Is this possible to achieve with K2?

I actually had to try, and I get everything to work out except for that it isn't showing category title and category description. The sorting of the articles is also strange...
I have set the category blog as a menu item (Item listings - Categories). Any thoughts here?

Hello,

The categories layout will only show the subcategories which belong to that category. It however will not show items within the subcategories' blocks.

You can also try adding K2 modules in your template or you can use the Latest items from categories menu item.
