K2 Front Edit show specific categories was created by Chris
Hi,
I have a 2 language site (English, Greek).
When a visitor creates an K2 item from Front End, all categories are shown.
I need to display only English categories for EN, and only Greek ones for GR.
How I can do it?
Thanks

Hello,
Depending on the user's group you can limit their access to certain categories so items won't get mixed up.

Hi Krikor,
Do you mean K2 user group? Yes, K2 user group can have access to specific categories, but in the front end, all categories are shown and the categories without access are ghosted. This is some kind of confusing for the user.
How this can be fixed?
Thanks
Chris

You need to override the itemform.php file and add the script using Joomla!'s API
docs.joomla.org/Adding_JavaScript
More information on overrides can be found here: getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174-templating-with-k2-and-the-concepts-of-sub-templates
