can i set user access to certain categories only for specific user in backend? I have set new user group in Joomla and same group in K2 but when i set Access to component for Joomla Group - user in this can edit all K2 articles not only in specific categories.

Hello David,

The access to specific categories only applies to the front end.
In order to restrict access to the backend you will need a 3rd party extension. You can look at the JED for such an extension.
