I'm a beginner with joomla and K2, so appologize for these "stupid" questions.

1)I'm designing a new website, from scratch (parent2dys.mypressonline.com/index.php/5eme/itemlist/category/7-anglais)
I would like to configure the "5ème/anglais" sub-category such that it displays the item titles and the image embedded within the items. This image could be ideally, the first image inserted in the item or alternatively a specified image.

I'm not able to configure the category to properly display the images. I can use the display text button to hide or show the text, this works fine. The "image" button does not produce any result (no image is shown in the category view.

Edit: I've been looking around for fixes to this issue. Some info:
a) all directories can be modified by K2 (checked in the admin control pane). I did a chmod 777 on the cache
b) an image is attached to the item (it is clearly visible in the item list)

2) When editing an item with K2, in the content tab, I can add images by clicking on the image button. Ok. But here is also a tab image (as well as media, attachement, etc). What are the differences and the usage of the image from the "image" tab.

Solved, the button image in the "category" section should be turned on for the item image to be displayed. This settings seems to override all the others below... I was confused.
