I am having a real hard time trying to get my K2 to work properly I have both the latest standard Joomla and K2.

when i go to a K2 item and click on Image -> "Browse Server" it brings up a popup where i can select a image.
this works correctly

when i go to a K2 item and click on extra fields (image field) -> select there is no popup the webpage changes into the media manager and insert does not work.
I have to physically click the back button on the browser to get back to the control panel

other addons attached to K2 such as J2Store function the same way.
Not so with regular Joomla Articles where media manager functions as expected coming up inside a popup on the backend.

upon loading the K2 item I get this error

"TypeError: this.element.uniqueId is not a function'

Looks like my disabling J2Store K2 fixes the error.
now i need to find out how i can use both. without this error.

If disabling J2Store solves the issue, this means that the J2Store file has a minor bug.
Let their devs know about this so they provide a solution.
