Hi, I would really appreciate some tips on how to sort articles created in K2 by their respective publish dates.

The articles appear on the website in the order in which they were created (modified), which is not the order I want to see them in. What I've seen is that I can manually sort them drag/drop but 1. it does not reflect on the live site, 2. articles got grayed out after I tried to move several. Thanks!

You need to edit the category's settings and select the proper ordering option.

Hello,
If you are using category inheritance, then simply change the setting of the category that other categories inherit their categories from.
If you are using a multi-category menu item. then these options are located in the menu item's settings.
