K2 generated some sort of has filename based on the itemid. It would be nice if in some way this is unique to the site.
I run multiple sites with K2 and nog for some reason the browser cache seems to find images between sites 1 and 2 to be the same.
It would be better is K2 uses the Title alt as the image name, or the original file name. This is way beter for SEO also as image file names need to be descriptive.
Likewise, the filename can give Google clues about the subject matter of the image. For example, my-new-black-kitten.jpg is better than IMG00023.JPG.
and thus better then 475699d297afae315ef802312426354e_L.jpg
I could alter the template to add ?v=2 and ?v=3 to domains B and C but I think this should be fixed within K2 also for SEO.
This does not happen by default on any browser. Each browser produces a hash of each file path, including the domain name (not just the relative path). You see domainA.com on all 3 sites because this is configured somewhere, it's not a bug in K2.
