K2 2.9.0 (though it does it in 2.8.0 too)

A bunch of their K2 items (in Publications, Special Reports, and Resources - blog seems to be unaffected) are showing the introtext on the category page (that part is fine) and then when someone clicks Read More, it takes them to the item and shows the fulltext (that part is fine too) but then it shows the introtext and fulltext below the item content for a second time.

Most are not working fine. I have tried going through the one working fine and the one not working fine to see differences but I cannot figure it out.

We do have a custom K2 template for each of these categories, but I changed it to default and the problem persisted.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this issue before? Do you have anything to suggest I try to sort it out?
