the "author URL" is automaticly set with HTTP, not HTTPS was created by Myorai
hello there!
i have some k2 items which shows the "author box", including the author's URL. the URL is created with HTTP and not HTTPS. the HTTP part is inserted automaticly - and added to the string inserted in the "Author URL" box (in the k2 user edit page).
this doesn't only happen on the website but also in the admin area. for example, i insert the url "example.com". after i save the user details it changes to "example.com". i couldn't find any way to prevent this.
some of my users have a website with HTTPS (and some only HTTP), this create a wrong link to their website.
how can i fix this?
is there a way to prevent k2 from adding "http://" OR "https://" ?
it would be best to just cancel this function and add the HTTP or HTTPS in the url box manualy.
please asvise,
thank you very much

This is fixed in the upcoming K2 v2.10. You can install the dev version on top of what you have now and it will fix this: github.com/getk2/k2/archive/master.zip
