Intro Text not showing on was created by john

I am trying to display intro text under the items. But it is not showing.

In the Content Box, I added Read More after the first line (which will be the Intro Text). In the display settings, I opted for reading More to hide.

Please suggest a way to display.

If you already split your content into introtext/fulltext, yet you don't see the introtext part in modules or category lists, simply make sure that the related option to display the introtext is enabled.
