Is there any way or are there any plans to incorporate admin menu filters similar to which have been added to the core articles? Currently this seems only possible on the frontend with k2?

This feature has worked great adding to the UI experience for Joomla Articles, it would be great to have for K2 items as well.

Yes, custom admin menus are now baked into the core. I've looked through the plugins for k2 admin plugins and nothing seems to accomplish linking to a specific category in admin. Do you know of any other plugins that give the end user a more pseudo content-type navigation, rather than only being able to filter via all k2-items list?
