K2 and Joomla Privacy Plugin Problems was created by Nadja King
Just wanted to let you know that I ran into a problem where the K2 overwrite of the user profile page would not allow an existing user to accept the privacy policy. Please note this only happens for an existing user that has not yet accepted the Privacy Policy. You end up in an endless loop where it says it saves the page but the Privacy Plugin is still on the profile page and you can't go to another page. The solution was to return to the original Joomla formatted User Policy Page. That at least is a workaround until K2 can figure out why the Privacy Plugin is not being accepted.

Warmly
Nadja

Set "Enable K2 user profile" to "off" in the "Advanced" tab of the K2 settings. This should resolve your issues for now.
