Adding an AUDIO file to Media in an item results in INVALID VIDEO FILE was created by Chas Large
I wanted to add a .WAV file to the Media Tab of a K2 Item and doing so resulted in an error message "Invalid VIDEO File".
Adding an MP3 file works correctly and the MP3 player appears but does not play.
Where can I change the file formats for Audio / Video files for use in the Media Tab of an item? I have checked all the settings I can find.
Thanks
Chas

I just updated K2 v2.10 (dev) -which is slated for final release by next week- with the file types supported by the new AllVideos v5.
If you're on K2 v2.9.0 you can safely update to K2 v2.10.0 by grabbing this file: github.com/getk2/k2/archive/master.zip

Hi Fotis,
Thanks for the K2 Update, have installed this and have the latest All Videos installed too.
I have added the .wav file to the media tab of the item and now it does not give an error and the media player appears but does not play. I removed it, replaced it with the .mp3 version in the Media tab. That too appears but does not play.
Here's the page. www.redkiteradio.com/index.php/blog/blog/a-new-promo
There are two media files at the bottom. The upper one is the .mp3 file embedded in the item code using AllVideo which Does play, the lower one is the same .mp3 file uploaded via the media tab.
Is there a setting I'm missing updating to get these files playable?
I can PM you with login details if you want to investigate.
Regards
Chas

Hi Fotis,
Another problem has now appeared since the install of the latest K2 version, the time on the Schedule is out by 24 hours.
It's Thursday today but the schedule says it's Friday.
It was OK before the new K2 was installed yesterday.
Any suggestions please

The audio file rendering issue in K2 forms is an AllVideos problem which I've corrected. You can download v5.1.0 from github.com/joomlaworks/allvideos/archive/master.zip (to be released later in the day).
As for the schedule, as far as I know there is no change is how time is calculated. Did you perhaps made any adjustments into the template overrides?
