This is a Joomla 3.9.10 site running on PHP 7.1.38 with K9 2.9.0.

I have a K2 Category menu item which is pulling Item titles from a parent category and all of its child categories. There are about 9 child categories. When using the pulldown category filter one specific category has 32 pages of results in the pagination bar at the bottom. Only two of those pages have articles on them. The rest do not display any Item titles. Just a blank area beneath the table column headings "Date", "Title" and "Category". There are only about 30 K2 items for that category, which list on the first two results pages.

What could be causing so many blank pages in the results?

Thanks Fotis. It works properly when filtering all of the other categories. Any other ideas?

You were right. The category.php template override had was passing incorrect parameters. Had my developer troubleshoot the code modifying the parameters and calling the latest Joomla pagination code.
