Linkedin button not showing on certain categories was created by sizu
Hi Fotis,
linkedin button is not showing up on some categories' items. Although the button is enabled on all categories, some of them have the same wrong behaviour. I can't find the logic behind this problem.
Do you have any idea?
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thank you so much for your help.
Best regards,
Aran

Do you have different K2 template overrides for the categories that won't show the LinkedIn share widget?

no, I haven't. I just have one template override for all categories.

I've run some tests and the issue is related to the level of the categories. We have 3 level of categories; the second and third level display the Linkedin button, but the first level not. I hope this helps you to find the cause.
Thank you so much.

In any case, compare the source K2 template files with your template's K2 template overrides and also check for any possible inheritance of parameters among your categories. E.g. the categories that don't show the LinkedIn button may inherit parameters from another one which has that button disabled.
