Hello there,
The Chronoform short code to show a form within an article is {chronoforms6}form{/chronoforms6} which generates the form in de frontend.

This short code is working in the normal Joomla articles, but it is not in the K2 item. From the K2 item it generates the text of the short code, i.e. {chronoforms6}form{/chronoforms6} in the frontend. I've been looking at their support and faq, the same here, but I have not found a solution. Any help?

It is really a pity, because I want to deploy the contact forms directly from my K2 items and I want to keep the Joomla articles to a minimum.

Antonio

K2 would not render a plugin ONLY if plugins are disabled from rendering overall. Check your category settings, there are 2 options for plugins in general and for K2 plugins only.

Fotis, Thank you.
I can't find the option for general plugins, only k2 plugins. Both in categories and in items. Somewhere else to look at?

You're right, K2 parses content plugins EITHER way. We have both options (for Joomla and K2 plugins) only in the K2 Content module, yet I rushed to (mistakenly) say it's in the component as well...

This of course means that the related plugin in Chronoforms probably executes only inside Joomla articles. In other words, it probably has hardcoded checks that the component in which the plugin is rendered is com_content and none other. There MAY be an option in Chronoforms to allow parsing in other components. If not, you need to contact its devs and request that they allow the plugin to be parsed in other components as well.

solved: via de plug-in chronoengineGcore2, tab "advanced settings", added the component "com_k2"

This gives k2 the ability to parse the shortcode of Chronoforms6.
