Is anyone aware of any issues with K2 if you introduce an Alias author?

Lets assume you have 10 articles by Author 1 and 10 articles by author 1 with alias newname

Then when you go to the categories settings you choose latest author 'show' you will then get

the top 5 latest for Author 1
and
the top 5 latest for Author 1 alias newname

Is that correct?

Any other issues???

Can you make a better distinction please?

"you have 10 articles by Author 1 and 10 articles by author 1 with alias newname" really doesn't make any sense.
