When you uninstall K2 (as with software in general) expect all its data to be deleted. So media files in /media/k2/ and K2's database tables are erased.

As such, you'd need to restore a full backup and then perform the upgrade via the Joomla update manager.

Check your database. If you see any K2 tables without 0 entries, then the data is there. If you don't, it's gone and the backup you have is probably outdated.

Dear Fotis

Its me hqbefree. The webbrowser automatic refill my 2.account. Sorry for irrationally.

I check under sql database. I see alot of K2 are as 0.
My question is: 1.) Should I restore a SQL Database from 28.April, the date before I uninstalled K2. Only the SQL-Database. Not again the hold Webspace backup.

2.) What happens with all my new Joomla articles and modules changes? Are they lost after restore SQL Database from 28. April?

Thanks again for your advise and instruction.

If you can get a backup from your CURRENT database, create a NEW database first and then using phpMyAdmin, import the backup to the NEW database.

In the NEW database choose to export ONLY the K2 related tables. This will create a new .sql file which contains only K2 data.

Now go to your CURRENT database and delete all K2 tables (which are empty either way). Then import (again, using phpMyAdmin) the K2 tables you previously exported, into your CURRENT database.

This will restore your deleted K2 data without messing with anything else in your Joomla site.

Remember to grab a backup of your CURRENT database before doing anything, in case something goes wrong.

Dear Fotis

Thank you so much for your instruction. It all news for me, but I try to learn.
Now I know how to export and import sql database with alot of trouble!

I have created a new database and my current database. I could import the current database now.
There are a lot of K2 tables. I hope I could found every K2 related tables.

I dont want to lost everything again. So I decided to download the backup and the database on my harddisk.

I try with XAMPP first.
I have my full website data on host and a database created.

TROUBLE: I try under the configurate.php

public $list_limit = '20';
public $access = '1';
public $dbtype = 'mysqli';
public $host = 'localhost';
public $user = 'root';
public $password = '';
public $db = 'quangharvest28april2020';
public $dbprefix = 'dfaa_';
public $secret = '';
public $gzip = '1';
public $error_reporting = 'default';
public $helpurl = 'help.joomla.org/proxy?keyref=Help{major}{minor}:{keyref}&lang={langcode}';
public $ftp_host = '127.0.0.1';
public $ftp_port = '21';
public $ftp_enable = '0';
public $tmp_path = 'G:/Alle Programme/xampp/htdocs/quangharvest/default-website/tmp';
public $log_path = 'G:/Alle Programme/xampp/htdocs/quangharvest/default-website/logs';

I GOT THIS WARNING:
Warning: session_start(): Failed to read session data: user (path: G:\Alle Programme\xampp\tmp) in G:\Alle Programme\xampp\htdocs\quangharvest\default-website\libraries\joomla\session\handler\native.php on line 260

It depends on how XAMPP was setup in the first place. If you use an empty password for the "root" user in MySQL, then the credentials are fine. However do check that everything else database-related is correct as well (database name, database prefix).
