Unless the #__k2_items table uses a different prefix, it's apparently deleted from your database... I hope you have a backup...

No, no, the data is there, it has always been there. I am using a News247 demo version as a base.
themeforest.net/item/news247-responsive-news-magazine-newspaper/19611203
Maybe it had the k2_items table prefix changed, that is why. I will have a closer look and try to find it, it has to be there.
Thanks a lot!!

Hello again, do you know if there a way I can find the k2_items prefix using web inspector? Or maybe any other way? I had a look at the DB but I can´t find it. The website is TodoTarifa.com

You should ask the template's developer :)

I did and they suggested me to ask you...

I was wondering if there is a way using developer´s tools or else to find any given database table´s name. Because in principal, the k2 item´s content could not be properly display if it´s table is missing, right? But in this case the k2 item´s content is being displayed properly as you can see in www.todotarifa.com

It is very weird. All the info is there in the frontend, but the _k2_items is gone. How could this be? I have double-checked the Joomla Admin > Global Configuration > Database Configuration to make sure I am looking at he correct DB. I have done a search for "items" in the DB and no table corresponding to K2 items found, not even with a different name.
My only hope is if someone could tell me how to track a DB table from the front end or from Joomla´s admin using some kind of webmaster´s tool or something. Anyone, please? Thank you so much.

Well, I haven´t found the why but I found the how. The table is in fact there as I always suspected. It does not show up in the left column, but when doing a search the table shows up in the available tables window. It is as if the table is hidden or something for some reason.
Problem solved, don´t know why it happens but at least I can work on the table.
