K2 Articles take up to 6 hours to show up in news Module was created by Herbert Bech
Have an issue
When I create an article in K2 and add it to a module to display the article on my homepage it takes over 6 hours to show up.
Website is not been cached
Module is not been cached
I called Iono my provider and they said this below
I had JCH Optimize plug in at one point but it is disabled
Upon checking here, you have a caching rule in your .htaccess
## BEGIN EXPIRES CACHING - JCH OPTIMIZE ##
<IfModule mod_expires.c>
ExpiresActive on
# Perhaps better to whitelist expires rules? Perhaps.
ExpiresDefault "access plus 1 year"
# cache.appcache needs re-requests in FF 3.6 (thanks Remy ~Introducing HTML5)
ExpiresByType text/cache-manifest "access plus 0 seconds"
# Your document html
ExpiresByType text/html "access plus 0 seconds"
# Data
ExpiresByType text/xml "access plus 0 seconds"
ExpiresByType application/xml "access plus 0 seconds"
ExpiresByType application/json "access plus 0 seconds"
# Feed
ExpiresByType application/rss+xml "access plus 1 hour"
ExpiresByType application/atom+xml "access plus 1 hour"
# Favicon (cannot be renamed)

Replied by JoomlaWorks on topic K2 Articles take up to 6 hours to show up in news Module
These are probably leftover rules from JCH Optimize. K2 does not alter a Joomla site's .htaccess rules. There are other more effective and generic ways to alter client-side caching in Joomla either way...
