Joomla 4 was created by Paul
Hi,
I'm thinking of using K2 for a new website but is there to be an upgrade for Joomla 4?

Joomla 4 is in the "Release Candidate" phase which means it's still being tested. Until Joomla 4 is (fully) finalized, we won't be releasing any updates to K2 to support it. There is no point in working on something that might break (and never mind the fact that J4 is in the "Release Candidate" phase).
Once Joomla 4.0.0 (stable) is released, we'll have K2 ready for it within the first 2-3 "patch" versions (e.g. until 4.0.1 to 4.0.3 is released).
In any case, Joomla 3 will be supported for years to come. And since migrating a site with K2 is a piece of cake (as it supports all Joomla versions from 1.5 to 3.x), I would choose the tried & tested Joomla 3 release for now and upgrade once Joomla 4 has had a few "patch" versions released.

Joomla 4.3 is out and this is no longer in Release Candidate so when does K2 plan on having it's version ready for Joomla 4?

Time has moved on an J4 is released and now patched to 4.0.4 - wondered if there was an updated view on when K2 support would release?
