Hello fellow K2 users,I've encountered a peculiar issue with the featured images of my K2 items and how they appear on Google Images. I'm hoping someone here might have experienced something similar and can offer some guidance.
Problem Description: When I search for my K2 items on Google Images, the thumbnail in the search results doesn't match the actual featured image of the K2 item. Instead, it shows an image from a different K2 item. However, upon clicking the thumbnail, the correct image is displayed. This inconsistency is consistent across all K2 items – they all show the same incorrect thumbnail in the search results.
What I've Observed:
- The issue seems specific to Google Images. On my website, the images appear as they should.
- It's not just one or two items; this incorrect thumbnail behavior is consistent across all K2 items.
What I've Tried:
- Checked the metadata and tags of my images.
- Used Google Search Console's 'URL Inspection' tool to understand how Google perceives the images on my K2 items.
- Ensured the XML sitemap is up-to-date and has been submitted to Google.
- Verified caching configurations and cleared caches when necessary.
