Simple Image Gallery version 3.0.1 is now available to download, fully compatible with Joomla versions 1.5 to 3.3!

This new update introduces the following:
- New gallery layout - fits perfectly with any site design (see a screenshot below)
- FancyBox popup engine updated to its latest release (now responsive)
- Added references for jQuery 1.10 and 1.11 (applies only to Joomla 1.5 to 2.5)

3.0.0 was a solid release (published almost a year ago!) and this new 3.0.1 version builds upon that foundation.

UPGRADING FROM 3.0.0 to 3.0.1
Either use the Joomla updater (if you are on Joomla 2.5 or later) or simply upload the new release on top of the old one.


UPGRADING FROM A VERSION BEFORE 3.0.x
This new version will install as "jw_sig" on your filesystem. That means the file structure and names have changed from "jw_simpleImageGallery" to "jw_sig", so you simply need to copy the plugin parameters you had set on the older version (if it was installed on your system) to the new one, then completely uninstall the old version (2.x). Your galleries will remain intact. Later updates won't have this "hassle" obviously.
