Now that we have 2,5 here, we can see flickr integration working awesomely...
For us loving picasa )in my case due to it's great desktop app), can we expect any 2.5.x version allowing for it's embedding too? google+ is out the end of this month, and it integrates with picasa for photos, I can see dozens of google+ users intersted in being able to embed their FREE unlimited photo space (for images under 2048px) on their webs...
I can see some changes in picasa API the next days, but after the dust settles, should we mantain hope? ;)

Definitely ;)
I'm also waiting for the name change in Picasa and if that brings any new changes (possibly) to their API etc.
It's on our to-do list for 2.6.

That's good to know!
I'm also longing to see this feature. Just purchased the Pro Version and tested the Flickr integration including the Flickr Uploader, but I have to say that the Picasa desktop application is way better than the Flickr uploader, especially since it is a great way for an entry level user to manage the pictures on his computer. I guess that is one of the reasons, why most of my clients already use Picasa and stay away from Flickr.
One thing I am totally missing about the flickr integration is the display of the Flickr Title and the description. Wouldn't it be logical to display them instead of the dreadful labels.txt file, which is only usable for webmaster-level users. I could never ask any of my clients to edit such a file. This woiuld definitely be a nice alternative, how clients could maintain their galleries including titles and descriptions. Any plans to do that?

Hi,
I am using Simple Image Gallery Pro but would really love to use it with Picasa. Is there any date on the 2.6 release?
Kind regards

Its a pity that Picasa has not made it into 2.6.0. Will it ever been embedded?
