PrettyPhoto different image sizes = error was created by cellardoor_ncx
I wonder why my account got removed as well as my topic.

I'll post it once more.

1. I use Pretty Photo popup system. I add a folder with couple of photos, some of them 800x533 and some of them 400x600. Then I append the gallery to an article using {gallery}something{/gallery}.

Here you have a link to my website :
www.annawize.vot.pl/podoslonami15/component/k2/item/5-wn%C4%99trze-szlarni-the-mentioned-element-is-not-allowed-to-appear-in-the-context-in-which-youve-placed-it

when you browse a gallery, two last photos which are 400x600, it freezes the script as well as the whole browser. Tested with IE8,9, FF 5, Chrome 12.0.742.122. Error appears everywhere.

2. When I try to override plugin settings with : {gallery}folder_path:thumbs_width:thumbs_height:display_mode:caption_mode:popup_engine:gallery_layout{/gallery}
for example : {gallery}rosliny_ozdobne:::::5{/gallery} (I want to change popup style)

as you can see here : www.annawize.vot.pl/podoslonami15/component/k2/item/4-wn%C4%99trze-szlarni-the-mentioned-element-is-not-allowed-to-appear-in-the-context-in-which-youve-placed-it this feature does not work... it opens photo in another window.

Hope not to have my account deleted once again...

1. I cannot see any problem...

2. Use a different pop up engine.

Please try to visit this link, click on a gallery at the bottom of the side. Now I left only two images. It freezes every browser, tried on 4 PC's.

2. What do you mean ? I want to override the popup system as you advise in documentation.
I tried from {gallery}rosliny_ozdobne:::::1{/gallery} to 5. Same effect - no popup.

1. I don't see any problem with the popup either

2. To override a SIG Pro template you need to read the part of the documentation entitled MVC templates: the power to customize the look of your galleries

1. I don't think you are viewing the gallery at the bottom. Now I left only one thumbnail leading to the gallery. Can you tell me what browser you are using, and if it views ok ?

2. I don't want to override a template... I just want to use different popup engine in one artcile.

1. I was viewing the Zobacz galerie!. I checked it in FF5, Safari, Opera, Chrome and it worked fine. In IE(9 and lower) it does the crashing you are referring to. Try the popup engine change.

2. To override a popup engine there is a reference in the documentation. Just follow the example.

"If we wanted to override the popup engine and the gallery layout as well, we could use something like:
{gallery}folder/some_folder:200:80:1:2:jquery_colorbox:Galleria{/gallery}"

1. Strange. I don't say it is a problem of SIG Pro, but when you use Pretty Photo it becomes a SIG Pro problem too. For me and for my friends, it crashes in all browsers. Please check this.

2. As I posted before, I used {gallery}rosliny_ozdobne:::::4{/gallery} which is a valid notation reffering to your documentation. It did not change the popup engine, what is wrong ?

To change the popup engine you have to define specifically the one you are using. In your example you don't do that.

Check the one I've sent: {gallery}folder/some_folder:200:80:1:2:jquery_colorbox:Galleria{/gallery}

The popup engine is jquery_colorbox.

Is PrettyPhoto popup engine going to be fixed anytime soon ?

I also have problems with other popup engines. I switched to rhuk_milkyway, turned off any addons with Jquery, turned off Mootools 1.2.5 Upgrade. Now when I test on FF5, Chrome 11 that's what I get :

1. Color Box - some strange overlapping :

2. Highslide - some overlapping as well, messed up structure, when photo is high, information overlaps the buttons which in the process cannot be clicked.

3. Greybox, which I'd really like to use does not show an image, it gets stuck on "Loading..."

4. SimpleBox by JoomlaWorks. Another one which look sleek but I cannot see navigation buttons...

Any solutions ?

EDIT : I found out that GreyBox popup system throws js errors in IE9.

First of all upgrade to the latest version and check your galleries again.

There is a second instance of jQuery loading in your site, which is located in the url below:
www.annawize.vot.pl/podoslonami15/media/plg_jblibrary/jquery/jquery-1.6.0.min.js

The jQuery instance should be loading only once in your site.
