SIGPro 2.5 White Page was created by Sunil Sinha
I am currently working on a site on localhost with Joomla 1.7. Downloaded the new SIGPro 2.5, installed it, configured it as needed but this result in a white page where the plugin is being rendered.

Checked the forum and it seems like others people are also having the same problem but couldn't find any solution. In most cases, the moderator asks for the backend login info and but fails to update on the forum what was the problem or how it was resolved.

The plugin's debug mode is on but it doesn't give me any error message.

The file sizes are also very small (5 images with a total of less than 150k).

As I mentioned, the site is on localhost so can't provide you the backend info.

The previous version for Joomla 1.5 had no problem at all.

Thanks for your help.

As I said in my original post, the site is on a localhost and yet to be put online. I guess there's no other way to fix it?

Can you give me a hint how you fixed similar problem with other people? Did you just tried to turn off one plugin at a time to identify the problem or did you have to do something major (tweaking the code)?

Thanks for your help.

First of all you should enable the Debug mode in the plugin or use Firebug so as to find what cause the problem...

Debug is already on.

When the plugin is turned on, I get the following message in Firefox (White page in IE8):

Fatal error: Call to undefined method SimpleImageGalleryProHelper::wordLimit() in C:\xampp\htdocs\news2\plugins\content\jw_sigpro\jw_sigpro\includes\helper.php on line 156.

Hope this helps identify the problem.

Make sure that you have SIG PRO 2.5.4 version! If not please upgrade immediately.

When you do that check the word limit you have set in SIG PRO plugin parameters.
Check what happens if you disable it...

However, when you get online pm me access to your super admin so as to check it out...

Hi Katia, thanks for trying to resolve this issue. I do have 2.5.4 version and changing the number of words had no effect on the page. Even turning the caption off did not have any impact. Page still shows white with the same error message.

I guess I'll have to wait until we launch it in January. I only wish it would have been resolved before the actual launch.

If you come up with anything else, please do let me know here.

Thanks again.
