I am getting the IE7 popup saying I am displaing secure and nonsecure items for Simple Image Gallery Pro V1.2.  No problems with Firefox or Safari in Mac and Windows.  I am running SSL on www.healthcmi.com.  Any fixes?

Note: On my website, if you click on "herb garden", that is the Simple Image Gallery.

On later review: I switched the choice of popup engine and the problem was eliminated!

I am having the secure/non-secure popup problem on a site using fpss and have tried everything I know without success in fixing the problem.

In the hopes of using your fix, I checked your site and when you click through to an image in the herb garden, using IE6, you get the warning still.

Your problem is not resolved.

Please let me know if you find a solution.

Hi my friends!

This IE annoying security warning popup on a SLL pages is caused when some images or/and links on the web page you're trying to display does not contain https://.

We use a full path to output our images, link, reference at js/css ( you can see it at "view source" ) and we use the standard $mosConfig_live_site variable of the joomla.

If someone still have this problem, please, check out at "view source" if the full paths contains the htts://
Also, change the popup engines to check if you have the same problem with all of that!

Always a direct link to this page will be helpful!

Hi my friend!
You receive this popup alert only with IE6?
Cause under IE7 seems ok!
Thank you!

hi vinikey,

yes ie 6.  Did not look in 7 or ff.  They are usually better, but still lots of users on 6 and from our experiences, if it works in 6, it usually works in 7, though the opposite is not necessarily true.

On SSL sites in general, I use the if ... 443, https://.... , else use http://... as live site variable in the config files.  This has worked well without issue for many sites I have built.

This is my first time to use fpss and am honestly growing frustrated at the lack of response for a commercial extension.

When commenting out the fpss module, the warning goes away.

I have tried everything, including the fixes proposed in the forums and a fix proposed by Fotis...

There appear to be a lot of people with the same issue and it is really hampering the effort to launch a new site.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
