Images In Wrong Directory

Hi everyone,
Having some issues with a fresh install of SIGP. When I upload the ZIP file that contains my images, instead of the usual thumbnails I get a text list.
When I click on one of those images, it takes me to a 404 not found page. The link is correct, except for the fact that an administrator directory has been added by default somewhere along the line. In other words, the text link points towards
111.223.236.34/~allets/administrator/media/k2/galleries/42/CC-Moovers-&-Shakers.jpg
But the image is uploaded to
111.223.236.34/~allets/media/k2/galleries/42/CC-Moovers-&-Shakers.jpg
Anyone have any thoughts? We're using v2.5.2.
