[Solved] SIG Pro warning, as follows: was created by Techbot
There was a problem rendering your image gallery. Please make sure that the folder you are using in the Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin tags exists and contains valid image files. The plugin could not locate the folder: media/k2/galleries/34

I have looked through the forums and seen similar issues but found no working solution.

Joomla 1.5.24
k2 2.4.1
SIG Pro 2.5.6

I had this same set up working on localhost, and then on a test server, without issue. It was only after I transferred it to my live server that the issue occurred.

Any advice is appreciated.

This error is due to wrong path of the image folder or directory path in SIG PRO plugin settings. Check again please and if you still cannot solve it pm me access to your super admin so as to help you out.

The issue was not an incorrect path to the images directory. It was the first thing I'd checked as I came across the same advice in other threads in this forum. Apologies for not getting back to you sooner but I didn't think giving admin access would amount to anything.

The issue was caused by Apache server settings and solved by running as CGI. Perhaps other people have this issue too. Here's more info: docs.joomla.org/Should_PHP_run_as_a_CGI_script_or_as_an_Apache_module%3F

Thanks for the great plugin :)

This error is because you upload the images .zip in K2 before configuring the plugin
Root folder for image galleries -> media/k2/galleries
If you do not do this before you will have error
To correct go to the image folder on the server: root/media/k2/galleries -> delete image folder you uploaded
Then go to the item you have upload image on k2, click on Image gallery tab, click in check-box for delete and click apply or save
Now upload zip image forder and save. That is it.

@tonicosta,
not always. This may be the solution in some cases. It may related to wrong server settings...
