Here is a tricky one.

Is there a way to add a box on the frontpage, which would fetch all the images used by the Simple Image Gallery Pro, and say, display 8 of the latest images added to the site? (from various categories)
I was thinking about launching a php script that would list all the images from specified directory/ies and add a box with lightbox, but they wouldn't be linked in any way with the article they come from.


This feature would be only on the frontpage.
