Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to refresh the original page after a user closes the gallery popup, so that if/when they navigate away from the page and use the browser back button to return to the page, the popup gallery doesn't appear automatically. 

Or, even better, is there a way to hide or suppress the URL appendage for galleries (i.e. #!prettyPhoto[gallerybab8180e5e]/0/)?  I searched for a similar post but couldn't find anything and I apologize if it's something really obvious.

Do you mean that there is not a way to correct this or that it doesn't happen.  I am using both Firefox and Safari and it happens in both browsers, as well as Chrome (on PCs and Macs).

Here is a link to the page on one of the sites where I use SIG Pro:

If you click to view gallery, close the gallery and navigate to another page (for instance, About Us), then hit the back button to return to the product page, you will see that it reloads the popup gallery.  Is there a way to fix this?

This is not happening in other sites or in our demo site...
It is probably a conflict with another extension you use in this page...

I am having the same issue on my site.

When you click on the above, then open the gallery then every click on the gallery pics creates a new url...
So when you view the gallery and then use the back button then you have to sift through all the urls from the gallery.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Can you help me get this sorted or simply update the code for that particular part of the plugin?

You may select a different pop up engine.
