Thumbnails not resizing to fit inside frame was created by RidgeGarrett Associates, LLC
I have used SIGPro on Joomla 15 installs, no issues ever.  On the Joom16 SIGPro version I cannot seem to get the images to all render inside the thumbnail frame, ragardless of what dimensions I set for the height and width. Some fit, some don't. It doesn't seem to matter if the actual dimensions of the images are greater (or less) than the dimensions specified in the Plugin parameters, either. For some reason, it seems the auto-resize isn't working.  Am I missing something?
thanks.

Your gallery seems to load for ever...  I really cannot see other than your main menu at the link you have posted.

Try it again.  We resized several of our images, which seemed to initially help.  However, for some unknown reason we have had a couple images expand outside the boundaries of the image holder box.

Shouldn't the plugin resize the image to fit our specified dimensions, regardless of the original size of the image used?  We can't seem to determine what's causing the issue.

Thumbnail resizing may "cut" in a way the image cause it depends from the initial dimensions of the image...

However, I cannot see any problem in your image gallery.

We went back through each image in our Photo Editing software (GIMP) and resized each image to closely match the dimensions we specified in the SIGPro componet for the size of the thumbnail. Once the dimensions were set in GIMP, we use the add-on extension for it that allows you to "Save for Web". When using this add-on in GIMP, you can specify whether it is saved as .jpg or .png, and can also set "smoothing" levels; bottom line, with this add-on you can get the image quality to an acceptable level while greatly reducing the file size of the saved image.  Most of our banners are in the 18k-33k range and other images are small as 1k-3k.  With the images resized dimensionally to fit the specified SIGPro parameters, and the file sizes greatly reduced, our page loads faster and all images are within borders of the thumbnails, as needed. This page has a large amount of images and still loads a bit slower than optimal, but it works ok for us.
