Overriding css was created by magicbean
I have editied the elegant gallery template.css to change the thumbnail border colour and caption background colour but I want to override it as shown in the documentation.
I think there is a method to put a my own css file at ROOT/templates/MYTEMPLATE/css/jw_sigpro/template.css (the documentation only mentions html in the path ....? )
Is this correct? Should 'elegant' be in the path too?
I have two lines I want to modify (currently I have modified the original elegant template.css). Should I copy my whole file to this location or can I just put the lines I want to override?
Thanks.

If you want to modify just two lines of css, open the Elegant template css folder and do the changes you want.
Remember that in possible update you should do that again cause the modifications will be removed.

Thanks Katia - that's what I did but I want to override it
a) because I want to know how to do it and
b) because I want to apply the changes to my site in a way that won't get over written by changes to the elegent template css folder

Just go to your /plugins/content/jw_sigpro/tmpl/Elegant/css/template.css file, modify the css you want and save it.
If you get updates of the plugin in the future, bare in mind that you should do the same modification again in the specific file.

Hi Katia - thank you. I already understand how to edit the css in the elegant/template.css
I want to know where to put some css to override it instead. I don't want to have to keep editing the plugin css each time it gets upgraded. Can you tell me where I put my new override css? Should it be part of my template's template.css or can I put it in a separate file?
Thanks,
Steve

If you have created a new template for SIG PRO you should put it in
plugins/content/jw_sigpro/tmpl/YourTemplate/css/template.css (the last file template.css is your css).
It should have the same path with the other templates as I explained you above:
plugins/content/jw_sigpro/tmpl/Elegant/css/template.css file.
