Thumbnail gallery- only one showing was created by t j o connell

Hi,
I have two galleries on the one website, one is working fine, the other is not- the first gallery is showing all the thumbnails as I want. However the second gallery is showing only one thumbnail, with empty place holders for the remaining thumbnails. When I click on the empty placeholders the galley displays as normal. This happens in IE and Firefox
I have checked the configuration setting and they are set fot normal thumbnail display. What could the problem be?
