I'm wanting to use thumbnails that get generated from one of the many website thumbnail generators that are online these days. 

Is there a way to incorporate those links into Simple Image Gallery Pro?  An example of one of these links is:

www.webshrinker.com/thumbnails/show/key:4f1b448b90178/size:large/url:http://alfredmiller.com

If there's another solution to get some thumbnails for URLs on the quick, I'm open to suggestions.

I cannot see the link you have sent me: Access denied.
However, SIG PRO cannot generate galleries from urls.

Do you know of another solution that can generate thumbnails from websites that aren't URLs?  Or am I going to be facing a manual process?

Sorry but with SIG PRO you cannot do that.
