Hi - Thanks for this product . Bought today and set all up very quickly.

I then added another image to one of my categories but the text file is not updated - so I manually add reference to the new image it. Is that what it should do?

Joomla 1.7.3

Maybe a permissions error?

BTW I use the Component Extplorer and edit the text file there in Joomla which saves a lot of ftp stuff.

Everytime you update a gallery you should set the plugin cache to 0 and of course clean your joomla cache too.
When you finish remember to set SIG PRO cache back to 120.
