We have just released version 2.5.7 of the Simple Image Gallery Pro plugin.

This new release improves compatibility with the latest Joomla! 2.5.x series, fixes some bugs reported in 2.5.6 and also updates many of the popup engines included.

More specifically:
- Updated the following popup engines to their latest releases: Fancybox (re-written from scratch), PrettyPhoto, Highslide, Slimbox (Mootools), Colorbox. All jQuery based popup engines now utilize the latest library of jQuery, loaded remotely from Google's CDN.
- Fixed JavaScript issues occurring in the Galleria layout. Additionally, the "current" selected thumbnail is no longer clickable and all text titles appear properly.
- Fixed CSS issues in IE8 for the 'Artistic' layout.
- Updated PIE.js (used in the 'Polaroids' layout for backwards compatibility with IE).
- Fixed: Fatal error: Class 'JParameter' not found in [...]/plugins/content/jw_sigpro/jw_sigpro.php on line 115.
- Fixed "blank page" (fatal error) issue when the “Caption word limit” parameter is enabled.
- Fixed "fatal error" issue when including a module position (in Joomla 2.5).
- Flickr galleries will now make use of the Flickr image "Description" field if it exists (otherwise display the image title).
- Flickr image downloading can now be disabled entirely.

Simple Image Gallery Pro 2.5.7 is fully compatible with Joomla! version 1.5 to 2.5.
