SIG Pro shows in backend but not in Frontend was created by neuro4861
K2: V 2.5.7.
SIG Pro: V 2.5.7.
Joomla: V 2.5.4.
I was operating my site under K 2.5.4. and SIG Pro 2.5.7. and entered an URL under "image gallery" to a folder on my server eg. "gastronomie/gastrobekleidung". Everything was working fine and all galleries were beeing displayed correctly (in backend AND frontend).
Then I upgraded from K2 V 2.5.4 to K2 V 2.5.7. and all the galleries suddenly dissapeared (in the frontend). They are still visible in the backend so the plugin works correctly. The image gallery is activated and even the database entry "imagegallery" is correctly set on "1".
When using the the zip-file upload option, everything works fine and gallery is being diplayed.
dobler.neurodesign.at/kollektion/gastronomie/gastrobekleidung
I thought this problem was solved with K2 V 2.5.7....
Is set all permissions to 755.
Can this problem be located in the migrations process from 2.5.4 to 2.5.7?
I suppose that somehow the "&& !empty($this->item->gallery)" in the item.php can not be written and thus stays empty. Therefore the gallery is not shown in frontend.
But I am not the expert on this, so if someone could help me on this, I would be glad!
Thanks
Tim

Is the plugin enabled? I cannot see it in your link source code...

Yes, the plugin is enabled in the joomla plugin manager. I Just checked that.
Gallery is visible in the backend, so the plugin seems to work fine there.
Option "image gallery" is selected in the category and should be inherited.
When using zip-file upload option, everything is displayed correctly.
When using flickr-ULR input, the gallery is not visible...
I just inserted another gallery into the following articel usig zip-file upload.
dobler.neurodesign.at/kollektion/gastronomie/trachtenmode
Gallery is visible, so plugin works fine...
Thanks
Tim

So the problem is only with Flickr galleries?

yes! But not directly whith flickr galleries, since I want to use local folders like {gallery}gastronomie/gastrobekleidung{/gallery} instead.
But the flickr URL input field is clearly the onle field to place this information within the k2 image gallery tab.
It worked fine in K2 V2.5.4...

Sorry I don't understand. You used the Flickr images online or you saved the images in a gallery folder and upload them as a zip file via k2 tab?

Ok. Maybe i was confusing you a bit... :)
Here is what i would like to do (and what was passible in K2 V 2.5.4.)
1. I want to upload a set of images into the folder media/k2/galleries/gastronomie/gastrobekleidung via FTP (works)
2. Next i would like to reference the folder "gastronomie/gastrobekleidung" using the flickr input field in the k2 tab image galleries. (works and shows in backend)
3. Then the gallery should be displayed in the frontend (works not)

Check that the directory path for the images folder in SIG PRO plugin is correct according to the path of your images in your server.
If your issuer remains please pm me super admin access and a link to the k2 item with the gallery.
Question: Why don't you use the K2 tab for uploading your gallery zip?
