You should modify the SIG PRO template (the one you use) css. Locate the border styling the thumbs have and reduce it.

I have created my own template with Artisteer, and I'm not sure where to find the SIG PRO template

I mean the SIG PRO template you have selected via the plugins parameters (for example Elegant, Artistic etc).

Go to plugins/content/jw_sigpro/tmpl/Elegant/template.css file and make the modification please.
