I just wonder if it is possible to control the sorting order of the images thumbnails, so the thumbs are sorted after what date they are added?
I have them sorted in the caption file today in the order I want them to display in front end but that doesn't seem to have any effect on the sorting in front end.
So if there's any tricks I'd love some tips on how to do this....

The images are being display in the order they are in the folder (once you set it to be rendered by default order).
Set it in the order you want save them and remember to clean your cache too.

Hmm so you mean if I upload by ftp or whatever they are displayed in the order they are uploaded from first day to last. I have annual galleries where users can upload photos of fish they have caught so the uploadas are randomly over a years period and this way they should be ordered in the frontend by the orer tehy are uploaded. That sounds far enough. Random it is.
