Is it possible to have one file display as the link that is not in the Gallery was created by PENDRAGON23

I was wondering if it is possible to use this plugin with Joomla where only a single image is displayed but that single image is NOT in the Gallery. The point being, can I use an animated GIF that actually animates the Gallery contents (that obviously I would have to create) that when clicked on shows the Gallery images but NOT that initial image?
