I upgraded my SIG Pro to v.2.5.8 so I could better control the jQuery Library Handling. However every popup engine renders completely different. My issue is the Main K2 Image, or the Image Gallery Thumbs OPEN IN A NEW TAB instead of loading "lightbox".

Some pop-up engins work better than others but almost NONE of them work on an iPhone (w/ Safari). If I can configure the jQuery to work right, and find a popup engine that is loads lightbox it only seems to work on desktop browsers. Anyone else having the images open in tabs on mobile devices??

Lastly, please tell me WHERE in the "lytebox.js" file for the "LyteBox SlideShow Capable" popup engine can I prevent the slideshow from AUTOMATICALLY PLAYING when clicking the first image in a K2 gallery? Cheers.

What do you mean by "almost none" ?
Is there any pop up that works or not?

Could you provide us with a link to your gallery page with the pop up that does work?
Lastly, the slideshow pop ups have a play button which you may use or not use. If you don't use it the images are not rotate automatically.

I am just upset because SIG Pro used to work just fine. When I had a J1.5 site, I could use SlimBox2 (my favorite popup engine) to open images in "Lightbox" on BOTH a desktop and iPhone.

Now, I've upgraded to J2.5 and SlimBox2 doesn't open gallery images in "LightBox" on the iPhone anymore. Using the updated SIG Pro plugin (v2.5.5).

On top of this, I have bought your other extension K2 Mart and upgraded SIG Pro to v.2.5.8. Now ANY page that has K2 Mart components on it refuses to open images in "lightbox" using the SlimBox2 plugin engine. And I am forced to use other engines.

Whats more frustrating is how inconsistant SIG Pro plugin is. Why is it that some popup engines work for the Main K2 Image to open in "lightbox" and others dont? Same way some gallery images open in "lightbox" and others don't? If I do happen to find a popup engine that works for both images (5 options), then only 3 of those options work on both the iPhone and Desktop.

Why do I have to compromise and use a popup engine I don't like or is hard to use on the iPhone, when SlimBox (which I like) used to work fine, and now clearly doesn't?

Like I said, I would be happy to compromise at this point and use "LyteBox". I would like to KEEP the slideshow function incase a uses want's to click "play". But can I simply disable the AUTOSTART feature of the slideshow?

SIG PRO provides different pop up engines in order to prohibit conflicts with templates or extensions scripts.



The gallery starts to rotate only if one presses the play button so there is no autostart.

One can navigate the gallery by the next and previous buttons in the top of the pop image as well.

If you don't want the Play button to be visible you may hide it via css.

Hey Katia, Thanks for taking a look for me.

However you are incorrect about how the gallery works. If you click on the 2, 3, or 4 thumbnail THEN yes the slideshow is off by default, and can only start if someone presses the play button.

BUT if you click on the 1st thumbnail, then you will see the gallery HAS an autostart. How can I dissable the autostart if someone clicks on the FIRST IMAGE?? I would still like to keep the pause/play if they want to turn on the slideshow later...

I just post here in case you find that topic googling about the problem like i did today haha.
in the lytebox.js script there is a line responsible of start on the first picture.

it means start if you are first and don't if not. 0 is the first array.

Anyway replace the zero with 'Z'  for example so you sure it will never start autostart.
