Natural vs Alphabetical Sorting of Images was created by Lance Thompson

I have a site where we are trying to sort the thumbnails of the images from a zip file uploaded through K2. We want to specify the order they are displayed in. The trouble we run into is if we rename images like this:

1_name.jpg
2_name.jpg
3_name.jpg
...
10_name.jpg
11_name.jpg
and so on...

They get sorted in natural order and not alphabetical order which ends up like this:

1_name.jpg
10__name.jpg
11_name.jpg
2_name.jpg
3_name.jpg

Can anyone suggest a solution for this?

Try the program irfanview - you can rename using a set number of digits (or other patterns) based on the order you place your images.
