Lightbox feature stopped working was created by htown
When I click on a thumbnail the light box pops up with the image and then goes dark with the rest of the website instead of making the image active. Need help with this as I have no idea and I'm supposed to launch the site today. Hope someone can help fairly quickly. :(

Can you elaborate on that a little more as I have no idea what that means.

I have just upgraded to version 2.6 and I am still having the problem. At this point I would pay to have someone fix this as the site is supposed to go live tomorrow and this problem just came up.

Go to "Simple Image Gallery Pro (by JoomlaWorks)" plugin and change the settings
jQuery library handling

Unfortunately this fix doesn't work for me.

I can use other pop-up engines like Lytebox and SimpleBox, those that are not jquery based.

Do you have any other plugins loading the latest jQuery version?

Changing the settings solved my problem on all my sites...

K2 is loading jquery, but I tried disabling it. About others I'm not sure. But the problem in my case is that galleries used to work and one day they just stopped working.

I haven't added any new modules or components to site in quite some time.

It seems to me that the fact you even had to change something in configuration in order to get plugin working again is not great anyway, probably there is something wrong.

Thank you for your reply! I have tried disabling k2 jquery. But it didn't help :( Besides before plugin stopped working I had k2 jquery enabled anyway, and plugin still worked.

A similar system extension which handles scripts. Loading, removing, filter. Also includes lazy-load for images and back-to-top scroller.

I set it to load the last available local copy of jQuery. Now, popup lightboxes work again.  ;D

The latest online version from google seems to have issues with SIG PRO lightboxes.  ???
