Lightbox image covers itself with dark background was created by Sander Van de Moortel

Please have a look at my site: www.sabraso.be/sabraso2/component/k2/item/294-romeins-gemaskerd-bal

Click any picture and you will notice (in Chrome at least), that the picture opens successfully, but is then covered with a dark layer which ought to only affect the background.

Any idea how I can solve this issue?
