Hi there

I am using Simple Image Gallery Plugin PRO, but I can not display the captions. I am following the instructions - meaning create a labels.txt file with a entry per photo, but nothing happens once I upload it in the folder where the photos are located.

Could anybody help me with this?

Can you give us please a link to see the problem?

Check, for now, the paths of the images and the labels.txt
and check also the permission of the labels.txt so it can be readed.

Could be problem of the encoding...
Try the solutions was reported here

Also try at the labels.txt to write the images as it!
if the image is saved as MiK-Development-01.JPG
you must write as MiK-Development-01.JPG in labels.

and tell me if work for you now!

Thanks. It works. Only thing left is the first photo - it is without a caption. Below is what I wrote in the file. I used the UTF-8 setting. I am grateful for your help.

This happens ( no caption on first element ) cause the file labels.txt it isn't saved right with utf-8 encoding...
This problem exist usually if use the classic notepad editor of windows os.
Try some other editor ( like notepad++ ).
and save the file as utf-8!

As i can see at your labels.txt file, in the first line exist a strange symbol
common if you use the notepad of windows to save utf8 files!
Try an another editor!  ;)

This worked for me too. when I FTP's it seemed to add extra characters. I edited in just notepad and it fixed it.
